Outdoor Wedding Venue in Arcadia Valley
Why pay prices the bigger venues charge when you can have that small, intimate “Shangri-La” Wedding of Your Dreams for a much more reasonable price at the Dragonfly-In. Here at the Dragonfly we offer spectacular lakeside weddings in the back yard of our Main Lodge where you may choose from our gorgeous patios, our 67-foot bridge or our boat dock all overlooking our gorgeous “Lake La Linda” as your backdrop with our 6-acre private lake, hiking trails & 46 forested acres. Even though we cannot guarantee it we will put in a special order for that perfect, sunset over the water, ceremony.
Here at the Dragonfly, we specialize in small, intimate outdoor weddings (up to 50 guests) and elopements (for 10 or less). We have many different options so that you can tailor your package to fit your needs and your pocketbook. Prices are based upon site fee and overnight accommodations chosen.
Overnight accommodations are for 2-night stays in our,
Green Darner Cottage- Sleeps up to 8 (10 with airbed)
Dragonfly Suite in Main Lodge- Sleeps 2
Single Day event may also be priced without overnight accommodations.
All packages include tables and chairs for event, separate changing stations with private baths for both Bride & Grooms party, extra time for decorating, cleanup, and extra dates by appointment for pictures/ save the date and rehearsal time the night before. We offer a spacious indoor bathroom with lakeside entrance for your guests and provide one porta facility for weddings over 25.
In case of rain our indoor area with large picture windows overlooking the lake is large enough for most smaller weddings, however, tents and other extras can be arranged at rental prices from Grand Value Rentals in Farmington.

Wedding Package #1: Price $2,300.00
- Includes site fee, tables & chairs for up to 50 guests.
- Two nights of lodging in both the Green Darner cabin and the Dragonfly Wedding Sweet (Suite). Green Darner can accommodate 4-8, Wedding suite for Bride & Groom.
Friday Afternoon: This premiere package allows you the luxury of decorating and set up for your special event and to have your rehearsal at the wedding site.
Saturday: Brides party and Groom’s entourage prepare in separate spaces, each with private baths, for the Big event. Music to end by Midnight please.
Sunday: Wake up gently with time for breakfast before taking down and cleanup of site.
Included Amenities
- One indoor bathroom facility for your event and one outdoor porta-facility for events over 25.
- 2 to 3 pre-wedding site visits for you to plan/take pictures. These are by appointment only and can be for 2 hours each or longer if needed.
- We provide white plastic wedding chairs, eight 60″ round tables/ seat 8 each and ten 72″ rectangular tables that seat 6 -8 each. Set up of tables and chairs can be done yourself or we can do for an extra charge.
- We have ivory table linens that can be rented for extra $50 to fit all tables.
Extras you may want to consider
Tents/ chandeliers/ dance floors/ arbors plus other wedding accoutrements can be rented at:
Grand Value Party Rentals/ Farmington. They set up and take down tents and floors pricing depends on size of tents and availability.
It is best to reserve early.
Requirements
- $500/ deposit at time of reservation which will be applied to balance due.
Payment in full due 3 months prior to event. - Liability waiver and contract signed on reserving by responsible party. An additional $500/ Damage/ cleaning deposit which will be refunded within 30 days of event if no damages or extra cleaning required.
- Wedding/Event Insurance:This Insurance is required, and the customer must apply and purchase the policy.Our rates have been adjusted down to help our customers defray this additional but very necessary expense that protects you as well as us.We have included a link below where you can find this insurance at a very reasonable price.You will need to cover for all 3 days of your stay, to cover set up/ rehearsal, event date, and take down.Our Venue information will populate automatically to name us as additional insured.We also require that you include the Subrogation Waiver.The base 3 day package with the subrogation waiver should be approximately $200.00 or less.The base package includes alcohol/liquor liability and self-catering.Professional caterers and vendors usually have their own and if not they may also apply at this site.This takes only a few minutes to complete. We receive a notice of certificate once you have purchased.

One day event only: $1250.00
Includes: 9:00 – midnight time allotment. For set up/ event. Music and event must end by midnight.
All above “Requirements” apply.
We provide the same site / chairs/ tables. We charge the same deposits as above. No overnight accommodations are included in this package.
Break down may be finished following day but must be finished between 9:00 am & 12:00 noon
$125.00 per hour added for every hour or partial hour thereafter.
